Director‘s Statement
This short film comes from my personal feelings about Chinese traditional family: subject to the unique sense of destiny or original sin woven by Chinese society and traditional culture. This original sin like sense of destiny can hardly be rid of ：every generation can't establish normal communication, and every generation can't reconcile. The way to break this curse like dead end is a soul that gradually wakes up and wants to jump out. Summer has such a soul , but she is also a confused individual. She drifts with the waves like a swimming fish and doesn't know where she wants to go.
