XU Ruotao
Visual artist and filmmaker, born in Shenyang in 1968. In the early 1990s, he joined the famous and independent avant-garde Yuanmingyuan painter village at the time, and began his own artistic creation career. His first experimental feature film, "Rumination" (2010), was nominated for the Best Dragon and Tiger Award at the 2010 Vancouver International Film Festival.
